CRB Communities

Are you interested in partnering with WSU science and engineering graduate students to tackle your water challenges? If so, please get in touch so we can explore ways to collaborate!

Program Director: Jan Boll (j.boll@wsu.edu)

Our Rivers, Watersheds, and Communities NRT Program trains the next generation of scientists and engineers to tackle the Columbia River Basin’s most urgent challenges, hand-in-hand with communities. Students in our program receive training in leadership and research ethics, and value the knowledge and expertise of communities. Our students and faculty are eager to learn about your stories and challenges and work with you to create solutions together to tackle water quality challenges.

Benefits for community partners:

  • community building
  • add a motivated, trained graduate student to your project team
  • limited funding available to students for collaborative community work
  • access to WSU expertise and facilities
  • contribute to the training of the next generation of scientists and engineers
  • resources to help see your project or challenge through to the next step
  • contribute to a more resilient, healthy Columbia River Basin
